Well, friends, my time in Albania has come to a close. I could write at least 20 blogs over all the Lord has done, and the revelations He has revealed to me just within this past month.

First off, ALBANIAN PEOPLE ARE SO GENEROUS. Albania will forever hold a special place in my heart (so far, my favorite country). There are a handful of divine encounters the Lord has highlighted for me to share with you to attest to such generosity:

–Our ministry host took us to a town nearby to hand out the gospel of John. We who were foreigners were welcomed into this town with extreme kindness. A few of the coffee shop owners even blessed us by giving my teammate and myself free macchiatos and water bottles. While passing out the gospel, most people were receptive and even allowed us to intercede on their behalf.

-Then during our stay at the children’s home, Mckayla and I woke up one morning to go on a coffee hunt. We ended up where we had eaten the previous night. The waiter brought us, not only, what we ordered, but also, a whole plate of pancakes on top of a handful of the cookies that we overly became excited about receiving with our coffee.

KIND. I cried. Yes, I cried over pancakes. But, it goes further than just the kind gesture. It pricks my heart because it reminds me of Jesus. I believe as He walked this earth, He walked in complete love and in complete truth. The book of Corinthians depicts LOVE for us; its primary stance is that LOVE IS PATIENT AND KIND. One of the most poignant examples of the kindness of our Savior is shown at the grave of Lazarus. John 11:33-35 says, “When Jesus therefore saw her weeping and the Jews weeping, he groaned in the Spirit, and was trouble… Jesus wept.”

Friends, our Savior’s heart is kind. I desire to walk in a way that others are pricked in the heart by the Father’s Kindness too.

Colossians 3:12-13 “ Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, mercy, kindness, humbleness, meekness, long suffering. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

Lord, Thank you for this country; thank you for its generous people.

I pray Jesus that we are vessels used to pour out your kindness to a world that is hurting today.

Jesus, lead us by your kind, truthful heart.

We are blessed to be Your blessings to others.

And we are called by scripture to BE KIND.

Your beloved, Kel
