20-some Days from Launch Update!

This World Race: living out of a backpack for the next 11 months, quitting both my jobs that I love, stepping into a season of unknown when the world is at its shakiest to share the gospel.. 

This is what the Lord is calling me, my 43 teammates, and our leaders to do. We being the body of Christ need your prayers for safety, for funding, but most importantly for His Love to be made known in every airport, country, and to every soul. Our first mission will be in Jaco, Costa Rica. We launch January 11,2021 from Georgia!

the truth.

Here 20 some days from launch. I have been doubting. Such thoughts have come, “God are you sure me, maybe I got it wrong?” “Maybe I should have stuck with making coffee and praying with people.” “God, where is the other half of my funds coming from?”

“Walk by Faith.” That is the phrase the Lord keeps hitting me with. I have truly grasped and held tightly to it. God keeps asking me, “Kelsey, do you not trust me?” _Redirect that focus then.

So, here I redirect __ I woke up today. I am healthy. I am loved. I cannot thank God enough for this amazing community and team to constantly be covered with by their prayers. God has met every deadline for funding. God has allowed me to share His Love in some amazing ways. God has equipped me for such a time as this. I am beyond blessed by even the opportunity this rainy day presents to cozy up drinking my coffee, basking just in His Presence. 

Today the Father told me and I wrote these words exactly in my journal for 12/17/20.

“It is all going to be okay. Nothing is a shock or surprise to Me. Keep seeking Me first in all things. My purposes and work will never go unfinished. I am for you, my dear child.” 

I pray these words encourage you today. God is for you; He is fighting those battles. 

So, I choose to show up again and again. I don’t have it all mapped out. But I know my God does not need a map. He does not even need me, but I am thankful that He deems me worthy to be used. What is the Lord calling you to today?

I would like to say again how truly thankful I am for those who have supported me financially, and for those who are praying!

As of now, $7,900 left to fundraise! WOW, God is good! Over half of the way funded for this next year. I still need SUPPORT and every bit helps! I pray you know my heart. It hurts me to ask you continually for financial support especially with the much pain, hurt, and heartache many have faced this year. Yet, I am reminded this support is not for me, but for you to be a part of furthering HIS Kingdom.

His Kingdom that will one day be our home. He has not forsaken us. There will come a day that He will wipe away every tear away; there will be no more sorrows, pain, and fear (Revelation 21:4).

Praise God for His saving grace! Let’s make it crowded up there! Our God deserves every ounce of Praise. His Love is perfect, unconditional.
