Do you know God?

Not just do you know the right thing to say; but do you know Him in a genuine, authentic, and personal way? If this present world fell apart, would you still have Hope? If things were not so pretty would you still point to God and say He is good? If the desires of your heart were never met, would peace and contentment still be present in your soul?

I came to a point in my life where the reality of these questions hit me hard.

God has always been right in front of my face, yet I failed to grab a hold of Him. I came to this point after years of being a Christian where I had to admit “God, I don’t know You.”

God in His infinite goodness grabbed a hold of my heart and has made it hard to let go ever since. I see His provision and grace all over my days.

This is the God I know.

The God I know never leaves even when we are so far gone. (Luke 15:11-32, the prodigal son)

The God I know chose me before the foundations of the world were formed. (Ephesians 1:5)

The God I know is interruptible; He loves the outcast. (Luke 15)

The God I know knows me and loves me completely. (Romans 5:8)

The God I know is patient and so kind. (1 Corinthians 13:4)

The God I know gives peace in all circumstance for He is the Prince of Peace. (John 14:27)

The God I know does not just deliver the broken-hearted; He sits with them and never leaves them through the valleys low. (Psalm 34:18) (Deuteronomy 31:6)

The God I know relentlessly has pursued me even to the point of laying down His own life that I might be saved. (1 John 3:16)

The God I know has blessed many with creative outlooks to showcase His goodness to the world.

The God I know is shown in the simplicity of a smile and kind word.

The God I know is the sweetest friend.

The God I know says YOU ARE SO LOVED SO SEEN SO WORTHY

The God I know loves the little children; They are all precious in His sight.

The God I know created such beauty that honestly is impossible to capture.

The God I know is sovereign and before all things.

The God I know never ever lets us down; He never will.

The God I know is heartbroken over this world and the evil of it, yet loves us enough to give us a choice.

You have a choice today.

Do you choose Him? And Guess what!..He just keeps getting better!

Ephesians 1:17-18

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling…”

Friends, when we know Him..we have Him.

When we have Him, we have Everything.

God, I long to to know You.

Really know You.

I am in awe that You stay with me.

God, I pray you continue to reveal Yourself through all things. We can never get enough of You.

Thank you Lord just for Your Presence.

Your Beloved, Kel

  1. Oh yes, you DEFINITELY know Him and you reminded me of some attributes that I don’t consistently think about. You continue to challenge me and your pictures are breathtaking. It truly helps us to take it all in and to be so much more a part of this amazing adventure (race)! ??

  2. THIS! What a testament to the fullness of His character and His love. Thank you for leading us closer and into more intimacy with the Father. I’m so proud of you, Kels!
