I sit here completely in awe over what OUR GOD has done this past week. So much goodness could only come from our Father being present. He was ever so present in every tent, room, and heart! This past week was training for the teams God has stitched together for this World Race mission. A time to come meet together, experience life as on the field, and focus in on our Amazing God.

As I marvel over all that our God did in my own heart and in the hearts of those around me there is just one thing I cannot get over. The truly surrendered hearts brought here. I wish I could share every individual testimony and every story about Our Father’s faithfulness. Each member of this team has a sure, fiery passion to tell the truth of who our God is to this broken world. In our worship sessions it was as if Heaven was being brought to earth. The tents and bucket showers in the rain not so much. BUT! man did God draw near and strip me of that comfort I desperately cling too. The sessions and speakers God brought were just incredible. Deon Vanstaden, a session speaker, gave us such an insightful word from the Father. Deon is a man who truly knows the Voice of God and listens. Deon shared of a time when he was delivering a message at a women’s conference and the phrase “banana spiders” kept running through his head. He knew this was Holy Spirit’s Voice. So, he took the time to publicly pause and say banana spiders. Come to find out after the message a girl was brought back to her heavenly Father because of such radical faith. This girl had strayed from the Father and this was her and her mom’s code word for any danger. She had declared she would only believe in God if such was mentioned.  Oh, how I long for the Voice of God to be that clear to me.

John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them (they know me), and they follow me.”

Father, I pray we know Your Voice so deeply and so personally. I pray we utter not a word or do not a thing that is not being directed by Your Love. Every act done just has Your Name written all over it, God, that you may have all the glory, honor, and praise!

It has taken me a day and a half to write this because I so desperately want these words not to be my own, but the words my Father wants me to share. Truly relaying His Heart to you and His Love.

Don’t get caught up in our human nature to pull out the tape measure and gauge against people who seem more gifted and anointed by God. His Love runs SO deep for you. He is Love. It is not about anything you have done or can do. It is only by His Grace. The enemy loves to strike us with fears and insecurities. Listen, God has deemed every part of you significant. You have a song so beautiful that no one else can sing for Our Father, Beloved One.

Sing it.

Shout it from the rooftops.

Still be singing it in the valleys low.

We are called to bring Heaven to earth. Its time, friends.

I pray you take to heart the words of this song,

“Fix your eyes on this one truth.

GOD IS MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOU.

Take courage, hold on, be strong, Remember where your help comes from…..

Good Grace, Good God, His name is Jesus.”

Let’s make it known, H(is) Squad.

God burdened my heart to be present this past week, but here are a few quick shots from training.

  1. Love this response, Kelsey!
Fathers presence WAS evident, and His peace produced a nearly tangible unity in our midst!
God IS good, ALL the time!!!

  2. LOVED what you shared about how powerful the praise and worship was. This prodded me to think about my walk and relationship to God and fueled me to want to make it stronger. Thanks!
