I know I have talked a lot about this passed week, but JESUS just did some incredible things! Regardless of the things that happen in each of our own little worlds, OUR GOD IS GOOD.
The last day of VBS came for us in the village of Mbrostar; we all were feeling the sting of sadness having to leave our new, little friends. We decided as a team with it being the last day the gospel would be shared and that there would be an invitation to accept Jesus. My teammate shared the story of the cross (the simply gospel). Then the question was asked, “Who wants to ask Jesus into their heart and life today?”
After a brief moment, all twenty children ranging in ages from 6-15 raised their hands. We asked pastor Leftiv to lead these children in prayer in Albanian. I found myself weeping looking around at the praying hands and hearing the sweet children’s prayers being shouted in their native tongue. We danced around and celebrated! I know their were heavenly host praising and shouting hallelujah in this little field in Mbrostar too. They might be too little to understand truly what asking Jesus into their hearts meant, or they might have just raised their hands because a friend did. I still believe it was a monumental point within each of their little stories. All praise and glory be to Jesus alone. Thank you Lord, for showing up in this village so greatly.
Your Will be done, Father. Your Kingdom we pray for it to continue to come.
Your Beloved, Kel

This is INCREDIBLE! I’m so proud of you all for leading these kiddos into the most important decision of their life: accepting Jesus. This is what it’s all about – an eternity with Him. Thank you for sharing with us this glimpse of Heaven!
