Psalm 34:8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”

While doing a Bible study with the Honduran girls we have been working with this month, Breanne and I noticed most of these girls did not have their own Bible. During our debrief our squad came together, and by God’s goodness we were able to raise enough funds to buy Bibles for these girls. Not only were we able to buy Bibles for the girls, but God out-did Himself. We were also able to buy the sweet Honduran women who serve us so well and who live on the mountain Bibles.

Our squad had a worship night that we spent time intentionally praying over these Bibles and highlighting our favorite passages.

We then spent a whole day serving these girls who serve us so humbly. We played games, washed their feet, served them dinner and prayed over them while gifting them their Bibles.

It was a Holy Spirit filled space. I was brought to tears by these girls receiving their Bibles. They were so excited! It was just like we handed them the best gift of their lives. Seriously though, what could be better than gifting a person with the Word of God! It was absolutely beautiful seeing the Spirit move in this space.

The time spent on this mountain has been one of the sweetest times. These people are family. They forever will hold a very special space in my heart.

Lord, May Your favor be upon them and Your Presence forever go before them.

Thank you for these sweet friends that we are able to call family.

Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done.

Your Beloved, Kel
