What has been up with H-Squad?

For the past week we have been at debrief! This is a time for all of our teams to come together before departing to our next country. A time meant for rest and refocus. We are staying in a backpackers hostel in San Jose, Costa Rica. So thankful for this space God has given our team to share amongst each other the beauty of His work from the previous months.

Our squad has been said to be marked by worship. We do have incredibly gifted individuals leading our team in worship; However, that is not what gives us such a mark.

True Worship is a Heart Posture.

It is a lifestyle.

It is coming to the realization of, “God, I was made by You. I was made for You. You are my rescue story; This life is not my own. May all praise, honor, and glory be forever to Your Name.”

I would love to share a clip of our worship last night from my journal:

Lord, tonight we lift up the hurting, the broken, the lost..

Those who have given up hope on praying for their salvation.

God, forgive our unbelief; You are so big and so vast!

We sing, “Let the prodigals come home.”

Friends, our God is so big! So sovereign; He is before all things. I know to often I have put Him in a box.

He parted the seas for Moses. (Exodus 14:21)

He rained bread from heaven for the Israelites. (Exodus 16)

He shut the mouths of lions for Daniel. (Daniel 6:22)

He made the lame to walk and the blind to see. (Matthew 9:32-33; John 5:1-9)

Don’t forget who the God is that we serve!

God has brought me to the place time and time again,

“Kel, you can’t; but I CAN.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

(Vs. 10) “Therefore, I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in distresses, for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

What’s next for H-Squad ?

Friends, thank you so much for your support during this unpredictable time. With that being said the next destination God has for H-Squad is..

GUATEMALA

We will be flying out this Sunday! Stay tuned for more information soon on what ministry in Guatemala will look like for the Bread-breakers over the next two months. All seven of the teams from our squad have been placed throughout Guatemala with different ministries and hosts which is such a God thing in the midst of the pandemic!

Thank you so much for your support and prayers! I am currently $2,305 dollars away from my $13,000 dollar deadline that is two days away. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with me on this Kingdom-building mission! God is so good; I place this in His hands.

Father, there is no day we step into that You are not already there.

Thank you for your consistency and faithfulness.

God, thank you for the times You have brought me to my knees reminding me that while I can’t, You Can.

I pray for H-Squad to continue to be a mere voice making straight the way through whatever wilderness we encounter in Guatemala.

God, we were made by You. We were made for You.

Use us however You want to; Have the throne within every one of our hearts.

Your Beloved,

Kel

One response to “I Can’t, but You Can!”

  1. “True worship is a heart posture.”

I love that and it definitely is, if we do it correctly. I am behind on reading your blog, but I am blessed each time I read it. I know that you all are doing wonderful things in Guatemala. To be known for your praise means that God is going before you as He is clearing the enemy out of the way. I love hearing that! Keep doing what God placed you all there for H-squad. I’m speaking God’s blessings and infinite love over you at all times. You make Him smile.
