A sweet thank you to an individual I will leave to be known as, ‘Pour-over Guy’.

I am reminiscing back on the busy, peak mornings of my Starbucks cafe. Brewing all the coffee, saying hello to all the familiar faces, keeping the cafe in order, and really the best way to put it is..running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I honestly do miss it sometimes. Especially when I walk into a coffee shop elsewhere. I love coffee, and I love blessing people with coffee. I remember back to the first time I strongly knew I heard from the Lord. It was in a Starbucks in Florida (how ironic, right?). I remember having a divine conversation with a lady, and as I poured her coffee the Lord spoke to my heart saying, “I can use something as simple as this if you let me.”

A couple years later in a different state yet another Starbucks, I am going about the usual shift duties. It was a rather chaotic, Saturday morning on bar (if you know, you know). I find myself running around like that chicken. I am on the front taking orders when ‘pour-over guy’ walks up. His order was a pour-over if you have not already guessed it.

Still to this day, I do not think this man knows the tremendous impact and blessing the Lord has used him to be (why I am writing this). This man inferred that I knew Jesus which made my heart so very happy because all I hope is that my life is the proof of our Father’s Love. I at this point was fundraising for the race and felt the Lord prompting me to share about the journey. ’Pour-over guy’ took a prayer card and has supported this journey with the Lord ever since. I still am blown away how the Lord used a stranger to remind me of His faithfulness and that He is ‘Way-maker’.

I hope that I am a ‘pour-over guy’ to those I encounter who have dreams from the Lord. That is why we are here: to love God and to love one another.

All this to say.. THANK YOU, pour-over guy. Praying you are still enjoying those pour-overs and for the Lord’s favor upon you and your family today.

As well as, THANK YOU to every individual who has partnered with me through prayer and financial support this year. I very often am brought to tears just over your generosity and the Lord’s goodness in making this possible. ALL FOR HIS GLORY; ALL FOR HIS KINGDOM.

I am still in need of a little over 600-dollars for the remaining three months of this race. My heart again cries out in gratitude to you and ever individual who even takes the time out of their day to read these updates.

Thank You Jesus for it all.. the divine appointments, the tremendous support, the growing months, the lives changed for eternity. You are a good, good Father

Your Beloved, Kel
