The Bread-breakers!

In Matthew 26, the Lord speaks of breaking bread with His disciples. He says to do this remembrance of Him. Again, in Luke it says, “He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19-20)

My team and I chose this to be our name as a reminder to be in constant communion with the Father. Truly with every meal (and even all the snacks) we give thanks. Every time we gather around His table we pray our hearts would be in a posture of utmost surrender pouring out praises and thanks to His Name alone. 

God is so cool and kind to bless me with this truly AWESOME group of girls!

I am unbelievably excited to see the Lord continue to grow and move in each of us this year. It is crazy I have only known these girls for a little over two weeks now. I truly cannot imagine them not being a part of my day. I always desired to have sisters; God outdid himself. Not to mention the 40-some members of this squad that are truly on fire for God. We are here to grow deeper with our Father no matter what that looks like.

Each day we meet for a time of feedback after the day of ministry. We take this time (apart from sabbath) to be intentional with one another, lifting each other up, filling the space with laughter, shedding tears when needed while laying down the burdens, and turning fervently to our Lord in prayer.

We are in the process of sharing each of our testimonies (God’s story over our life). It has been such a sweet process. Hearing the beauty of God’s redemption and grace through these beauties. How He is a God that runs after us. How tremendously He loves. How divinely He works. How He has pursued and continues to pursue these precious hearts. How He has beautifully written each of their stories.

I would love to share just a tidbit with you about each of these amazing sisters God has blessed me with to serve for His Kingdom!

Meet Court! Her whimsical self livens up any room. She brings the kid at heart self right out of me. Courtney has such a spirit of intentionality with everyone around her. I love serving with you, and cannot wait to dive into youth ministry with you this coming week!

 Meet Bre and Kaci! Bre is our team leader (God ordained, for sure). Bre has such a personal, surrendered relationship with our Father; It shows through how she leads in such humility and grace. She is a Light for Jesus that never grows dim.

Kaci is a solemn, safe place. She has a spirit of wisdom that she carries ever so faithfully. (Also she kills it with the worship!)

 Meet Juls! The Joy of the Lord shines truly so bright through Jul’s (always) smiling face. Her heart longs so deeply to be in the Lord’s will; Her love for the Him is contagious. 

 Meet Victoria! Victoria, such beauty (inside and out)..she has a bright, colorful personality! She is my go-to (my other half). Jesus, has truly blessed me with her genuine, authentic love. God’s story through Victoria is such a beautiful, powerful Testament of the Lord and His goodness.

 Meet Cam! (who also serves as one of our amazing squad leaders)This picture captures Cam perfectly. Cam always brings truth and light into every space. She has such a spirit of discernment and wisdom she pours into everyone around her. She is a true vessel for Holy Spirit to use.

Lord, thank you for these sweet sisters.

Thank you that while we are all immensely different, we are united in You.

Pray that You continue to cleanse and transform every part of our hearts.

Pray that we put each other’s needs above our own as you command, Lord.

 We are here for You, Lord.

Pray that You set a fire down in our souls that never grows dim.

Pray that we uplift, encourage, continue in love, speaking Life all together for Your Kingdom.
